Recording and working with Benjy King is always a unique experience. Benjy's approach to making records is something that is hard to find in music industry. To begin with, in most studios getting a drum sound can take a very long time. With Benjy it's so fast that we actually begin recording before I finish my coffee. He makes the drums sound natural and organic but also gets a very up to date sound at the same time. Getting the perfect bass drum pattern is also something that amazes me.
